We take in local animals that are in danger of euthanasia and foster them until they are adopted out.
Why should we win?
Heartland Small Animal Rescue pulls animals from local shelters that are literally on death's doorstep. We don't pick and choose which animals we take. We take whichever ones the shelter needs to move. We are a group of volunteers who work endlessly, even with their own jobs & families, to save these animals. There are always more that need saved & we could save many more with more resources.
